MY BLOG MOVED

I know that I hadn't posted much on here, but it was mostly out of the frustration of how this Blogger format has some limitations. I didn't really have the time to "make it work," so I went ahead and made some major adjustments. I love that the new one integrates the theme I've designed for the official site!

Their wedding is set for Halloween and I can't wait to capture their beautiful city wedding!

All in a Good Weekend

I've spent a lot of time working this month, so it was such a treat to spend some time with my family this weekend. Rock had been TDY on a short trip, but I was more than ready to have him come home Friday. The Dayton Air Show was impressive [as always] and some friends even volunteered to watch Kevin on Sunday so we could go on a date! It was just what I needed :]

Getting there....

Right now I am feeling a mix between pride and frustration. I am very happy with the material I've been working on and I feel so excited to share it with everyone. I can not wait to take more pictures and focus on the upcoming weddings!
On the other hand, being a one man band has its disadvantages. I do not regret designing and creating my site, but it is a lot of work. Sometimes I spend hours [or weeks] on parts of the design, then scrap it completely. There are times when I feel that what I want to achieve on an aesthetic level does not match my current capabilities.

I do feel encouraged that I have developed something that can grow with me. Right now I have two slide shows up, and will be getting the rest of them up soon. Setting the stage takes a long time, but I feel so happy to be coming into the home stretch!



And you know that this blog is driving me nuts... but one thing at a time. Just excuse its lack of personality and creativity at the moment!
